Friends Pakistan with the financial support of British Council and strategic partners “FREE AND FAIR ELECTION NETWORK” (FAFEN), School of Leadership Foundation (SOLF) and Children’s Global Network (CGN), is implementing a project “ILMPOSSIBLE – Take A Child to School” in different Union Councils of District Mansehra & Battagram. The project aims to enroll and retain out of school children in educationally vulnerable union councils of District Mansehra & Battagram.

                                   

Under the scope of this project, seven thousand and fifty eight (7058) out of school children have been enrolled in Government Schools of five union councils and ninety five (95%) students have been retained at schools of these targeted UCs. A pool of three hundred and thirteen (313) young volunteers has been trained and mobilized to get all out of school children under the fold of education. Five, Mohalla Committees comprising of fifty two (52) members were established and are actively contributing in enrolling and retaining the children in schools. Friends Pakistan’s volunteers and members of communities will have to enroll three thousand (3000) more out of school children in different union council of Mansehra & Battagram in 2018.
